TECHNICAL FILES CUSTODY

Custody of technical files. Prolab has dedicated a reserved area on its web portal, dedicated to the custody and management of technical files required by current directives. With this service Prolab wants to relieve customers from all those activities related to the management of the technical file, which goes from the preparation, archiving, verification of updates, etc. The procedure for activating this service is as follows:

  •     1. preparation of technical file
  •      2. registration on our portal
  •      3. release of credentials for access to the service
  •      4. monitoring
  •      5. alert
The first phase involves preparing the technical dossier following the requirements set by the directives.

After registration, the credentials are given to the customer to allow complete access to their technical files. With a single access the customer can access all registered dossiers. Access can take place anywhere in the world.

Access allows you to view, download, send (via integrated email), print:

  •     their technical files
  •    all documents attached to the file
  •     declaration of conformity
  •     any production controls
The monitoring phase is the most important part of the whole system, as Prolab regularly checks for any regulatory updates concerning each of the dossiers registered on the portal. This is of considerable importance as it allows the customer to disregard their technical file, both in terms of directives and regulations. Through this monitoring, Prolab is able to alert its customers, through Alert, about any expiring or expired rules (standards used in the test reports), any updates at the level of directives, etc.

The files prepared by Prolab have a QR code (two-dimensional barcode) able to lead back to the technical file registered on the portal at any time. The QR code is important for both the customer and for distributors, control bodies, etc. which may exist the technical documentation by simply scanning with smartphones and similar QR code without having access to sensitive / project data
